Description: pt_gridp shows the complete Pictometry cell grid covering Pima County and a few miles beyond the county boundary.
pt_gridp shows the entire possible grid. Cells included in Pictometry project areas are indicated by the PLAN2020 field, with similar fields to come for future projects. A separate layer called pf_grid has the same geometry as this pt_gridp layer but does not that does not include the project fields.
While Pictometry cells are approximately 1/4 square mile, they are not related to PLSS sections and are not coincident with PLSS section boundaries.
Starting with the 2020 project, this layer replaces the function of the 'Pictometry Sector Grid - Planning' layer ptnsectp.
Known Errors/Qualifications: Attributes may indicate planned or proposed areas and are subject to change.
Lineage: pt_gridp was made by copying the pt_grid layer and adding the PLAN2020 field. Additional fields will be added for future projects.
This quarter-square-mile cell grid planning layer is the follow-on to the previous ptnsectp layer used for older square-mile sector grid projects.
